Take Another Bite was founded in Manotick, Ontario in 2012 with the goal of creating delicious, chef-prepared recipes and baked goods that would exceed customer expectations. Our chefs have proudly served the greater National Capital Region for nearly a decade, and we’re incredibly proud of our company's growth into a rapidly growing fresh prepared food, baked goods, and flash frozen meal provider. About Bianca
While on maternity leave with her twins, Australian-born Bianca Coldrey conceived the idea of a retail location for her catering company, Take Another Bite, in January 2012.
Drawing on extensive hospitality, catering and retail food background, Bianca and her team are creating a unique environment for her clients to enjoy a coffee and a treat, or lunch in the cafe, take home a gourmet dinner to share with family, or partake in spectacular catered events in their home, office or event space. Take Another Bite services the greater Ottawa-Gatineau region from 2 locations. One in Nepean, and from the charming village of Manotick.
The success of Take Another Bite is attributed to Bianca and her team’s commitment to consistency in order to source and create the absolute best products available for her customers. Producing dozens of trial recipes before allowing the best one to be available, whether poaching their own chicken for salads, blending their own sauces or baking daily from scratch, the majority of products are made in-house. Bianca uses real ingredients to create outstanding food that she would serve to her own family.
A tireless and passionate person, Bianca is extremely active in her adopted community of Ottawa. Bianca was the co-founder and co-chairperson of the successful Hole-In-One for Cancer golf tournament, volunteered with the Girl Guides of Canada for over five years and is now the mom of a very active 12-year-old and 9-year-old twins.
