DELIVERIES

We will deliver within the time frame specified on your order. The assigned driver will knock or ring the door bell and wait five minutes. If no one is at the delivery address, the package will be left on the front porch for later collection by the recipient. Exceptions will apply to perishable products, such as cakes, if no one is available to receive the delivery, our driver will return the items to our store at #11-148 Colonnade Road South, Nepean. We will contact you to arrange alternate arrangements for collecting your order. An additional delivery charge will apply, if you require a second delivery attempt.

LAST MINUTE CHEF SELECTIONS
Chef prepared, made in-house, delicious Last Minute Chef selections are available in generous family size or individual portions. Each selection is freshly prepared and frozen to lock in the flavor.

Simply thaw and reheat on the day you wish to enjoy.

AVAILABILITY

Take Another Bite takes great pride in the preparation of menu items for our guests. In situations where the availability of food items is beyond out control, we may substitute food items of equal value at the discretion of our Chef and with customer knowledge. 

GLUTEN FREE & DIETARY SENSITIVITIES

Take Another Bite is sensitive to the dietary needs and concerns of our guests and we are happy to provide gluten free foods upon request. However, we unfortunately cannot ensure that cross contamination of ingredients does not occur in our kitchen. All our foods are prepared in a kitchen that contains wheat, milk, soy, tree nuts, peanuts and seeds. 

During our gluten free preparation process we only use gluten free items, please be aware that food items may come into contact with wheat and/or gluten. Because of this, we do not recommend consumption of our gluten free foods by those with celiac disease.  

FOOD SAFETY

All food is sold and/or delivered with Ottawa Public Health food safety guidelines. After three hours at room temperature, please ensure left over food is refrigerated or discarded.

ONLINE ORDERING
The minimum order is $30.00.

PROMOTIONS

All promotions are while supplies last.
Orders require minimum 48 hour notice. Leads time can be extended based on business volumes, size of order.
No discount on delivery fee, gift cards or special promotion menu items.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation Policy:

Must be received by phone (some exceptions may apply).

If an order is terminated within thirty (30) days of the scheduled event, Take Another Bite shall be entitled to retain twenty-five percent (25%) of the deposit and seek any additional expenditures to date, including but not limited to labour, special orders, rentals, and/or proposals costs.
If an order is terminated within fourteen (14) days of the event Take Another Bite shall be entitled to retain any deposit paid and seek any additional losses including but not limited to labour, special orders, rentals and/or proposals costs.


Order terminations made within 48 hours will not receive a refund.  Modifications made within 48 hours cannot be guaranteed and are subject to best effort.


Should the order be cancelled by Take Another Bite, Take Another Bite will fully refund any deposit within ten (10) days of the date of cancellation. If event is within thirty (30) days, Take Another Bite will reimburse or pay to Client the invoiced difference in costs and expenses that have been incurred by the Client paid to an alternative provider or providers based upon the total proposal bid.


Client shall make reasonable efforts to mitigate damages and obtain substantially similar services. The caters responsibility is limited to items covered in the last accepted proposal by Client. Any additional items are at Client’s expense.

ORDER MODIFICATIONS: 
Orders may be modified, subject to availability. A modification surcharge may apply.

RETURNS: 
If you are dissatisfied with any product, please contact us at hello@takeanotherbite.com or 613.518.6639 within five (5) days of receiving your order. Please provide your order number, any pertinent information and an image or two of the issue. To be eligible for a credit or refund, the product in question must be returned. Store credit or a refund on a product that has been consumed or discarded will not be issued. Store credit is issued via a gift card.
Subject to anything to the contrary provided herein, our liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total price charged for the Products and we do not accept any further claim for loss from or in connection with the supply of Products, however arising.
Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Under no circumstances will Take Another Bite team members be expected to endure any of the above abusive behaviors. Take Another Bite reserves the right to deny service to customers exhibiting disruptive behavior, intoxication, violent threats, or non-compliance with reasonable dress code requirements. Such refusals will not be based on discriminatory grounds protected under the Ontario Human Rights Code, such as race, religion, or disability.

We respect your privacy and undertake to store and process your data in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada) and our Privacy Policy.

It is not our policy to sell, rent or transfer information to third parties for marketing purposes.

In the absence of our negligence we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.
